Place: Greece, Milos. Material: Landscape and trash. Category: Photography. Concept: “Almost perfect” is a series of photographs about landscapes. These photos show the conflict between what we expect to see and what is there and how we interoperate a photo on such a scenario.
As we approach a beautiful view of a landscape and suddenly find an object (like trash) we consider shouldn’t belong to this sight, in some aspects, we have a difficulty to accept what is in front of our eyes.
But if we se the same scenario as a beautiful photograph, we tent to accept this as a beautiful piece of art! It seems as if we have a wider range of acceptance when we aren’t experiencing the landscape in a physical sense…
